| Anupama Raag is a musical director and Bollywood singer, born in Lucknow and educated at the Bhatkhande Music Institute. Annupama Raag was trained in the classical music of Ustad Gulshan Bharti by Lucknow Gharana and Yogendra Bhat of Gwalior Gharana, under the traditional guru-shishya parampara. In addition to many public performances, Raag has regularly sung in Doordarshan and Aakashwani and has sung for five consecutive years at Lucknow Mahotsav. |

| Anupama served as a bureaucrat in Uttar Pradesh. She has been Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Commercial Taxation and Special Service Officer at the Lucknow Development Authority. She learned classical music from Ustad Gulshan Bharti from Lucknow Gharana and Yogendra Bhat from Gwalior Gharana under the traditional guru-shishya parampara. At the beginning of her singing career, Anupama sang regularly in Doordarshan and Aakashwani. In addition, she sang for five consecutive years at the Mahotsav Lucknow.Her her first song, Shalu Ke Thumke, starring Mallika Sherawat, of the movie Bin Bulaaye Baarati was widely appreciated. |
