Lakshmi Rai works in the Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam industries. she made her screen debut in Tamil Filmi Karka Kasadara and Telugu Film Kanchanamala Cable TV First Telugu. Lakshmi Rai, Malayalam Rock N'Roll's first film, was very well received and received the Asianet Award for Best New Female Film of the Year.
