| Nayanthara made her acting debut in the 2003 Malayalam movie "Manassinakkare" in front of Jayaram. Then he worked with veteran actor Mohanlal in the super hit "Vismayathumbathu". In 2005, she ventured into Tamil cinema with "Ayya" with Sarath Kumar. The following year, she made her Telugu debut with "Lakshmi" against superstar Venkatesh Daggubati. During this time, she played in the commercial and critical success "Ghajini" alongside Suriya and Asin. Nayanthara has steadily grown in stature in the South Indian film industry by giving away many successful films.
