| John Abraham born December 17, 1972 is an Indian film actor, producer and former model who appears in Hindi films. After being a model for many commercials and businesses, he made his film debut with Jism, earning him a Best Filmfare nomination. His first commercial success, Dhoom, followed. He has received two Filmfare Award nominations, for his negative roles in Dhoom, and to Zinda. He appeared later in the great critical success of the water. He has been nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for the film Baabul. Since then, Abraham has starred in many critically and commercially successful movies, including Kaal, Garam Masala, Taxi 9211, Dostana, New York, Force, Desi Boyz, Housefull 2, Race 2, Shootout at Wadala, Madras Cafe , Welcome Back, Dishoom, and the last, Force 2, establishing itself as a commercially successful Indian film actor. |

| John Abraham began his modeling career by appearing in the singer Punjabi Jazzy B's music video clip. He then joined the media company Time & Space Entertainment Entertainment Media Ltd., which however closed due to financial problems. Later, he worked for Enterprises-Nexus as a media planner. In 1999, he won the Gladrags Manhunt Contest and went to the Philippines for Manhunt International, where he won second place. Later, he performs in Hong Kong, London and New York. He has also appeared in a number of commercial commercials and other music videos for singers including Pankaj Udhas, Hans Raj Hans and Babul Supriyo. To enhance her acting skills, Abraham joined Kishore Namit Kapoor's Actress Lab and took a theater class while juggling modeling assignments. |
