| Tochi Raina was born on September 2, 1965 in Drbhanga State of Bihar. He studied in neighboring Nepal. His family from Kohat finally settled in Patiyala after the Indo-Pakistani partition. He belongs to the musical gharaana of Patiyala. He has also learned tabla for a good ten years and is currently learning western classical guitar. |

| Tochi Raina debuted as a singer in 2008 with Bulleshah, in the film A Wednesday, followed by many hit songs like Iktara 2010, Gal Mitthi Mitthi 2010, Saibo2011, Aali Re 2011, Mallo Malli 2011, Gud Naal Ishaq Mitha 2013 and Kabira 2013 .Tochi released his album "Tochinamah" which contained three of his melodious songs.
