Tarun Nihalani born and raised in Nasik Maharashtra currently lives in Mumbai. Nasik Tarun Nihalani, a student at St. Patric School, aims to make his passion for childhood a perfect expression for him. Tarun studied at Bytco College and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Pune.

Tarun owns the Tarun Nihalani Dance Academy and was one of the 18 finalists on the reality TV show "So you think you can dance - Ab India ki bari" it was a shame for him to leave the show halfway because of 'an injury after going through the five rounds of selection and performance in different dance styles. According to Tarun Nihalani, he was deprived of formal training for a long period of the early days of his passion for dance, so most of his dancing skills are self-taught. Even after joining Maestro Dancing Terrence Lewis, he had to spend a lot of time traveling. Recalling his days of participation in You think you know how to dance - Ab India Ki Bari, Tarun says there was a time when he had three days without sleep. During the show, he has to train until 2 am and get ready at 5 am for shooting which usually ends at 6 pm in the evening.
