| Raageshwari Loomba was born in Mumbai on July 25, 1977 to a middle-class family, to Trilok Singh Loomba, a musician and government official, and his wife Veera. She has an older brother, Rishabh who is a filmmaker. The Sanskrit word Raageshwari means "queen of ragas and wife of the Lord." Raageshwari attended Auxilium Convent High School. As a child model, she toured several advertising agencies with her father. At the age of 13, she was noticed by director Shekhar Kapoor, and auditioned during a photo shoot for the lead role against Bobby Deol, but did not secure the role. As a teenager, Raageshwari signed her first film as an actor. |

| Raageshwari Loomba has appeared in several Hindi films like Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost, Dil Kitna Nadan Hain, Zid, Aankhen and Main Khiladi Tu Anari. . She suffered Bell's paralysis in 2000, which caused her an insult in her voice and paralysis on the left side of her face. After a rehabilitation after a serious illness, she returned to host popular MTV shows like 'Ek do teen' and 'Baar Baar Dekho'. She has also appeared on shows such as One on One with Raageshwari and Indian Mythologies, Sab Gol Maal Hai, Kuch Kehti Hai Ye Dhun, BPL Oye, Mini Super Stars, Children's Show, Queen's Baton Relay and others.
