| Karthik was interested in music early in his life and had learned Carnatic music during his studies. Later, he began to sing for his college band and regularly participated in IIT Madras Fest 'Sarang', Karthik has always dreamed of meeting the great musical. After searching for many avenues, he discovered that one of his friend's cousins was the singer Srinivas, who sang a lot of songs for Rahman. During their brief conversation, Srinivas asked Karthik to sing a few lines, and was impressed by his voice and asked him to look at the song more seriously. Taking note, Karthik resumed his singing lessons. |
