| Vaishnavi Mahant made her acting debut in the Hindi movie "Veerana" with Hemant Birje, directed by Shyam Ramsay and Tulsi Ramsay and produced by Kanta Ramsey. She has also performed with well-known actors such as Mithun Chakraborty, Mukesh Khanna, Arjun Bijlani, Jay Soni and Gaurav S Bajaj. She has appeared in well-known films such as Choti Maa Ek Anokha Bandhan, K. Pali Hill Street, Ek Ladki Anjaani Si and Karmyudh. Her performances in many films have been hailed especially in "Bambai Ka Babu" which was one of the best films of the year 1996.
