He has worked on several Bollywood projects as well as Tollywood, including Prathibandh, Aaj Ka Goondaraj and Criminal. He also managed to play some small roles in Bollywood. He acted as one of Chiranjeevi's friends at Aaj Ka Goondaraj. Ravi Teja joined Krishna Vamsi as deputy director for Ninne Pelladatha and played a small role in the film. Krishna Vamsi regards him as one of the main actors of Sindhuram. After that, he starred in films like Pattukondi Chuddam, Premaku Velayara, and Padutha Thiyaga. His first film as a lead actor was Neekosam, directed by Srinu Vaitla. Ravi Teja took distribution rights for his Mirapakaya after the producer was unable to arrange his pay on time.
