Manoj Bajpayee is an Indian film actor born on April 23, 1969. He works mainly in Hindi cinema and Telegu and Tamil language films. He has received four Filmfare Awards of 10 nominations. Manoj Bajpayee received the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor and Critical Filmfare Award for Best Actor. In 2003, he won the National Jury Prize for "Pinjar". He then prepared a film with the role of an avid politician in the political thriller called Rajneeti. Manoj starred in a television show titled "Swaabhimaan" with Rohit Roy and Ashutosh Rana. |

Manoj Bajpayee was interested in acting from an early age. When Manoj went to Delhi at the age of seventeen, he heard about the National Theater School where famous actors like Om Puri, Naseeruddin Shah studied. He applied to Drama National School but was rejected three times. After, he wanted to commit suicide. Then he worked as a director in Barry John's studio. John was inspired by Bajpayee's play and John hired him to teach drama. |
