| Trisha Krishnan is an Indian actress and model, who works mainly in the film industries of southern India, where she established herself as a leading actress. This beautiful actress was born in 1983 in Chennai under the name of Trisha in a Tamil Iyer family. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Tamil and French. She studied at Church Park in India and at Ethiraj College in India. She is an only child and lives with her parents and grandmother. It was introduced in the film industry through the film of director Ameer Sultan named Mounam Pesiyadhey. She was crowned Miss Chennai in the year 2000 and won Miss Salem in 1999 and won Miss India Beautiful Smile in 2001. And was noticed after winning several beauty pageants like the Miss Madras contest, which marked her entry in the movies. Her hobbies are music, reading and swimming. Trisha debuts in Bollywood with Khatta Meetha. She played the opposite role to Akshay Kumar. She was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Beginning. She won "Mademoiselle Salem" and "Mademoiselle Madras" in 1999 and participated in the Miss India Pageant in 2001, where she won the title Beautiful Smile.
