| Pooja Hegde is the last and magnificent diva of the city of B and especially the film from South India came in the spotlight when news of her being part of the upcoming film Mohenjo Daro. The old classic tale film is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, in which she would act in front of the dashing old piece Hrithik Roshan. Pooja is known for playing in a number of Tamil films and other South Indian films, which is also a model. She had participated in the Miss Universe Pageant contest where she was the second finalist. She is from Mangalore one of the beautiful cities of Karanataka. Although she is fluent in Kannada, Hindi and English, her mother tongue is Tullu. To the extent that Pooja Hegde's career began working as a model, and remained the second finalist in the Miss Universe India contest in 2010 and similarly was her story in another contest called Miss India Talented of the Year 2009 After challenging these beauty pageants, she heads to the world of action by making her debut in a Tamil-based film called Mugamoodi opposite Jiiva. In this film, she played the character of a fun and loving girl, who is seen motivating the man to change his life. After making her first film in Tamil, she went on to Telugu's two films, Oka Laila Kosam and Mukunda, and this year she was going to make her Mohenjo Daro debut. |

She gained prominence with Hindi film Mohenjo Daro, alongside Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan. His other films are "Oka Laila Kosam" and "Mukunda". She brings a new air to the film industry and is praised for her performance in "Mohenjo Daro" which also earned her the Lux 2016 Golden Rose Award for Best Newbie of the Year. |
