| Keerthy Suresh is an Indian actress who appears in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu movies. She is the daughter of Malaysian producer Suresh Kumar and Malayalam actress Menaka. Keerthy began as a children's actress in the early 2000s and, after graduating in fashion design, returned to lead roles. She played her first lead role in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali and also signed films in Tamil and Telugu films. Keerthy was born to Suresh Kumar, director of Malayalam, and Malayalam actress Menaka, from a conservative Tamil family. She has an older sister, Revathy Suresh, who works as a VFX specialist and previously worked for Red Chillies, Shahrukh Khan's production company. Until the fourth grade, Keerthy was educated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She then studied in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram before returning to Chennai to join the Pearl Academy where she graduated in fashion design. She also spent an exchange internship in Scotland for four months before completing a two-month internship in London. Despite her career as an actress, she stated that she "was seriously considering a career in design." |

| In the early 2000s, Keerthy worked as an actress in some of her father's productions such as Pilots Achaneyanenikkishtam and Kuberan and some soap operas. Eleven years after Kuberan, she made her debut as a principal actress in Priyadarshan's horror comedy, Geethaanjali, in which she played a dual role. She was still studying during this time and shot for Geethaanjali during her semester break. The comments on the film and her performance were mixed, Sify writing that she "makes a little effort but only makes a limited impression in a dual role," while Rediff writes that she "has an important role but it impresses with its acting the prowess is another matter. "In 2014, Keerthy had her next release, Ring Master directed by Rafi duo Rafi Mecartin in which she shared a screen space with Dileep. She played the role of a blind girl, which she said was much more provocative than her dual role in Geethanjali.The movie was a commercial success, being called a "super coup" by Sify.In 2014, Keerthy was accepted his first projects outside Malayalam and signed to appear in several Tamil film projects simultaneously.His first film was AL Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in front of Vikram Prabhu, although the film did not well behaved at the box office. Her busy schedule throughout 2015 forces her to refuse films she has already worked on. Maane Thaene Paeye from Krishna and Kavalai Vendam from Deekay, to accommodate larger projects. So she worked on two films with Sivakarthikeyan in quick succession, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while starring in Thodari's Prabhu Solomon alongside Dhanush. she also signed her first Telugu film, Aina Ishtam Nuvvu directed by Ramprasad Ragutu. The film, supposedly an adaptation of Rendu Jella Sita, has been described as "sweet love story on the lines of Ramayana" by Keerthy, who would play Janaki, a "sparkling character" similar to Sita. In January 2017, Keerthy appeared Bairavaa, the opposite actor Vijay and directed by Bharathan. In 2014, Keerthy finished shooting the art film Darboni in which she would be considered a Kashmiri girl. In addition, she is part of Paambhu Sattai in Tamil, in which she plays a poor Chennai girl of a lower middle class, and Nenu Sailaja in Telugu.She also signed a film with Suriya titled Thaana Serndha Kootam, directed by Vignesh Shivan and the lead female role in Saamy 2, Saamy's sequel to Vikram and Second Chief Trisha Krishnan .. Also, she will portray the late actress Savitri, in her bilingual Tamil-Telugu biopic titled Mahanati, directed by Nag Ashwin, who has not started production yet. |
