| Yashpal Sharma was started with the carrier by appearing in commercial films, like Shool and Arjun Pandit. However, it was Oscar-nominated Lagaan who made it known, and later appeared in Gangajal 2003 and Ab Tak Chhappan. He has been regularly in the films of Shyam Benegal and Prakash Jha and continues to work as a stage actor in Mumbai. He made his television debut with Mera Naam Karegi Roshan on Zee TV in 2010. Then he played a role in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on SAB TV in 2011. he starred in Rage productions bilingual piece, One on One and the play Lakeerein, written by Gulzar and directed by Salim Arif, opposite actor, Lubna Salim., His theater franchise in which he plays a main role of bittu with ritu sharma on stage, was recently performed at the shri ram center, mandi house, delhi for his piece "Koi Baat Chale" in an association with Ventom Motion Corp which was directed, interpreted and written by ramji bali. |
