| V. Ravichandran born May 30, 1961 is an actor, director, producer, music director and lyricist in the film industry Kannada. He is the son of film producer N. Veeraswamy. As a producer, Ravichandran continues to run the production house of his father, Sri Eswari Productions. He is popularly known as "Crazy Star" Ravichandran, a fan title prefixed to his name.Ravichandran shot instant celebrity when Prema Loka, which he produced, directed and starred in, became one of the movies lighthouses in the movie Kannada story. It was made with a budget of a Crore Rupees, the most expensive Kannada movie of his time. He starred Juhi Chawla. |

| Ravichandran began his film career in the early 1980s and has appeared in numerous films with well-known actors in the Kannada industry, including Vishnuvardhan, Ambarish, Prabhakar and Rajesh, produced by his father. His first film was Khadeema Kallaru1982 as one of the villains. His role as an innocent bumpkin village in Ramachaari was featured at the Ontario Film Festival. He kept stereotypical roles: a policeman Shanti Kranti and Abhimanyu, Amal Premaloka, Anjada Gandu and Preethsod Thappa, pop singer Yuga Purusha and Gadibidi Ganda, rustic Putnanja, Sipayi, Chikkejamanru, Halli Meshtru and Malla, and lawyer Brahma Vishnu Maheshwara and Yuddha Kaanda.Ravichandran was an instant celebrity when Premaloka, which he produced, directed and performed, became one of the star films in the history of Kannada cinema. He became famous for his mesmerizing looks and his charismatic style. After the Premaloka, Ravichandran played in several hits, including Ranadheera who was a remake of the Hero of Subhash Ghai, Anjada Gandu, Yuddha Kaanda, Ramachaari, Halli Meshtru, Gadibidi Ganda, Annayya, Putnanja, Sipayi, Yaare Neenu Cheluve, Mangalyam Tantunanena, Preethsod Thappa and Malla. Ravichandran marries best with South Indian actress Kushboo. |
