She made her screen debut in Film A Love Story in 1994, for which she won Filmfare Best Actress Award. Manisha Koirala has worked on many popular films such as Akele Hum Akele Tum, Khamoshi: The Musical, Dil Se, etc. Manisha Koirala married Samrat Dahal in 2010 and divorced in 2012. |

This Nepalese actress debuted at Bollywood's "Saudagar" of Subhash Ghai with Amitabh Bachchan, Dilip Kumar, Anupam Kher, Amrish puri and many other Bollywood legends. She had a chance to register in "1942: A Love Story", "Bombay". Her performance was very much appreciated in the films and was awarded with "Filmfare Awards for Best Tamil Actress". She has directed several films such as "Ek Chotisi Love Story", "Anjaane - The Unknown", "Mumbai Express", "Mohbooda". Besides the love story films, she also directed horror films directed by Ram Gopal Verma's "Bhoot Returns" which was released in 2012. Her upcoming film "Dear Maya" will be released in 2017. |
