| Kennedy John Victor also known as Vikram or Chiyaan Vikram is an Indian film actor, producer, singer and vocal actor. He was born on April 17, 1966 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Vikram works in the Tamil film industry and has established himself as the highest paid commercial actor. Vikram Net Worth is $ 20 million and his salary is Rs. 12 Crore. He has received seven film awards, a National Film Award and the Tamil Nadu State Film Award. Vikram debuted on screen with the movie En Kadhal Kanmani. | Vikram began his professional career by modeling commercials for brands such as Chola Tea, TVS Excel and Alwyn, as well as in a six-part television series titled Galatta Kudumbam aired between November and December 1988. In the final year of his program MBA At Loyola High School, he was recognized by the film industry, with veteran director CV Sridhar approaching him for a lead role in a film. Vikram made his film debut in 1990 by appearing in En Kadhal Kanmani, a small budget love affair featuring him alongside Rekha Nambiar, with Thanthu Vitten Ennai of Sridhar, Rohini being his next outing. He then signed to be part of the love story of P. C. Sriram Film School, Meera with high expectations, but the three films failed to launch his career. His appearances at Meera and Kaaval Geetham, along with another seasoned director, S.P. Muthuraman, helped him to obtain films from the Malayalam and Telugu film industries. |
