| Udit Narayan is an Indian male backing singer. He was born on December 1, 1955 in Bhardaha, Saptari district, Nepal. Udit Narayan works mainly in Bollywood and Nepali cinema. He is India's best-paid and most successful singer. Udit Narayan's net worth is $ 20 million. He has received numerous awards, including three national film awards and five Filfmare awards. Udit Narayan also awarded the Padma Shri in 2009 and Padma Bhushan by the Government of India in 2016. He made his singing debut with the film Unees Bees. Udit Narayan has sung more than 25,000 songs in 36 languages. |

| Udit began his career in 1970 as a folk singer Maithili on Radio Nepal. Udit started filming "Unees Bees" in 1980 and continued his journey playing and singing. He was educated at Jageshwar High School and graduated from the SSC with an Intermediate Diploma from Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus in Kathmandu, Nepal. He is a well-known singer since 1990 of Bollywood singing careers. He used to sing Maithili and Nepali songs. Little by little, he began to sing modern Nepalese songs. After a few years, he moved to Bombay for music with a grant from the Indian Embassy of Nepal to learn classical music. |
