| Monali Thakur is an Indian singer and actress. She was born on November 3, 1995 in Calcutta, West Bengal, India. She debuted on screen with Bengali Film Krishnakanter Will and her first song, Song Kubool Kar Le, on the film Jaan-E-Mann. Monali Thakur has twice received the National Film Award and two Filfmare Awards for Best Singer. His most popular songs such as Moh Moh Ke Dhaage, Sawaar Loon. Monali Thakur also appeared on the TV show Rising Star. |

| Thakur began her career singing in school and college competitions and performing at local festivals. She received the best performer award at the Anandalok Awards for the Sri Ramkrishna series when she was 14 years old. She got 9th place in Indian Idol 2.she received an offer to sing for Music Director Pritam Chakraborty to sing two songs for the Bollywood Race 2008 movie - 'Khwab Dekhe (sexy woman)' and 'Zara Zara Touch Me' .
