He was debuted on screen with the Hindi Movie Lamhe as Deputy Director and the lead role of Hero Himalay Putra Hero. Farhan was passionate about cinema from an early age and worked as an apprentice at a young age. In 2001, he made his debut as a screenwriter and director with the film "Dil Chahta Hai" which earned him many critics and the National Film Award for Best Feature. Similarly, films like "Lakshya", "Don", "Positive", "Honeymoon Journey Pvt. Ltd", "Don 2" and so on are his other best-selling films under his direction and co-production. In 2008, he made his acting debut with the film "Rock On" with co-stars Prachi Desai, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli. He was also the backing singer of the film's songs like "Socha Hai", "Rock On" and others. The film earned him the National Film Award and the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award as well as many positive reviews. Some of his other successful films as an actor are "Luck By Chance" (2009), "Karthik Calling Karthik" (2010), "Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara" (2011) and many other things that helped him to establish itself as a successful B-city actor. |
